1974年　東京都生まれ。
3年間南山陶苑にて製作に従事したのち、’99年に韓国の陶芸産地を巡る。その後は、常滑を拠点に国内外での制作、展覧会に出展。独自にブレンドした土や釉薬を使い、その高い技術力と発想力で生み出される作品は、唯一無二の表情と存在感が魅力。

【Ohara Koichi】
Born 1974 in Tokyo.
After working at Nanzan Toen for three years, he toured the ceramic production areas of Korea in 1999. Since then, he has been based in Tokoname, and has produced works and participated in exhibitions both in Japan and abroad. Using a unique blend of clay and glazes, his highly skilled and imaginative works have a unique expression and presence.
