【水上勝夫】（みずかみかつお）
1955年　愛知県生まれ。
‘79年 金沢美術工芸大学工芸科卒業。８年間今井政之氏に師事。
‘87年より常滑で作陶をはじめ、‘05年、半地下の穴窯（一片窯。）を築窯。力強くも静謐な存在感の作品は、国内はもとより、韓国やアメリカ（ボストン美術館）でも収蔵されている。

【Mizukami Katsuo】
Born 1955 in Aichi Prefecture.
Graduated from Kanazawa College of Art in 1979 and studied under Imai Masayuki for 8 years. He began making pottery in Tokoname in 1987, and in 2005, he built a tunnel kiln (Ippengama). His pottery with a powerful yet serene presence has been collected not only in Japan, but also in Korea and the United States (Museum of Fine Arts, Boston).
