Curtis Tamm

カーティス・タムは日本に滞在しリサーチを行い、「MAMプロジェクト026」で新作となる《自身除妙法》（2019年）、《真壁の梵鐘鋳造師》（2019年）を発表。
本書では、本展展示風景をはじめタムのステートメントや担当キュレーターによる論考、2017～2018年の日本におけるリサーチの概要を収録。タムのユニークな思考と実践の一端を考察します。

Curtis Tamm stayed in Japan for his research, and presented two new works, Spelling for Protection against Oneself (2019) and The Bell Makers of Makabe (2019) in MAM Project 026: Curtis Tamm.
This publication focuses on these two works, by featuring installation photographs and more. It also comprises Tamm’s statement, an essay by the exhibition curator, and an overview of the artist's research in Japan from 2017 to 2018 and examines some of Tamm’s unique thinking and practice that emerged during this period, including the background and context in which these works were created.
